SAN LUIS OBISPO, California — On September 16th, 2026, the Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) Board of Directors accepted the 2025-2026 Annual Audited Financial Statements and Independent Auditor's Report prepared by Vasin, Heyn & Company.

Following semester conversion, this marks the first time in ASI history that the ASI/UU Internal Review Committee and the Board of Directors had the opportunity to review the annual audit during the regular academic year. As stated in the opinion of the audit, ASI remained in accordance with nationally accepted general accounting principles throughout the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

As ASI enters this new era with semesters, the integration with Cal Poly Maritime Academy, and the new ASI Maritime Academy Council (AMAC), more changes to the budget, club funding, club sports funding, and ASI operations are expected.

In the coming weeks, ASI is ensuring all club funding, the ASI Maritime Academy Designated Reserve, and other funding resources are readily available for students to utilize for years to come. Additionally, outreach and education efforts are being pursued to support this transition and ensure clubs—especially on the Solano campus—have the resources they need to be successful.

Looking ahead, I'm working to meet with various clubs and organizations to identify their needs and concerns as Cal Poly continues to grow its operations.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, California — On September 2nd, 2026, I was ratified by the ASI Board of Directors to fill the vacancy left by Alan Ko, the new Secretary of Student Perspectives, to represent the Orfalea College of Business in its first meeting of the 2026-2027 academic year.

I’m incredibly honored and grateful for this opportunity to represent my college and fellow OCOB students, and will continue to advocate for the ideals of communication, transparency, and visibility my campaign centered on last Spring.

In the coming weeks, outreach and visibility will be prioritized to gain a better understanding of the perspectives, concerns, and ideas from students across campus through meetings with clubs, working with OCOB leadership, creating the framework for more direct communication to students from ASI, and ensuring my visibility throughout the term.

In my role, I’ve also been assigned to the ASI/UU Internal Review Committee and the Academic Senate Budget and Long-Range Planning Committee, and will routinely keep students updated on changes to ASI, various budgets, and the future of Cal Poly.

Additionally, I serve as a student representative to the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Advisory Committee to provide insight and gain student perspectives about inclusion and programming under the Cal Poly Department of Cultural and Institutional Excellence.

Above all, my work is centered around students and it is my mission to ensure I’m visible, accessible, transparent, and accountable to them. As the year kicks off, I look forward to meeting new faces, working with the community, and creating change for Cal Poly’s next 125 years.
