Justin Szeto

Born and raised in San Francisco, I've grown up surrounded by individuals whose passion and dedication to public service inspire meaningful change. Now, I've continued to uphold these principles in every role I take on.

Currently, I'm pursuing my undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, a concentration in Accounting, and minors in Political Science and Law & Society at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Passionate about public service, I serve as a representative of the Orfalea College of Business on the Cal Poly Associated Students, Inc. Board of Directors where I advocate for student needs and interests.

Previously, I supported New Student & Transition Programs during SLO Days and Week of Welcome, helping guide and welcome incoming students and their supporters to Cal Poly. I also served as the Vice President of Operations for the yakʔitʸutʸu Neighborhood Council under the Cal Poly Inter Housing Council and was a member of the ASI Executive Staff program, representing on-campus residents and supporting the work of ASI Student Government.

Overall, I hold strong ambitions towards studying and working in government, politics, economics, and accounting where I aim to research and advocate for effective economic policy, fiscal accountability, and transparent leadership to better serve our communities.
